Just as good as the major brands for a fraction of the cost.
Excellent value. I've only used it for a week but it seems to have all the features my old Samsung Galaxy S6 had and more. The photos are excellent quality and it is much faster than my old phone. The battery life is amazing!

One of Motorola's best lower end Androids!
I love the Motorola line of phones! I switched from the Moto E4 Plus to the Moto G5s Plus. The phones are very similar in performance and size.. I expected the G5s Plus to have more features, but I'm still satisfied with it.. The E4 Plus performed surprisingly well with the 2GB of RAM. Playing games & running multiple apps was exceptional. Both sides of the phone have a LED flash, and can use either one as a flash light as well. Although I haven't found a way to get both LEDs to light up at once, I still love the layout of all the features. Battery life is excellent, lasting a day or day and a half before giving low battery notification. Impressively, the lightning charging cable and wall adapter allow the phone to recharge at a very fast rate. The G5s Plus has a pop out some ... I love the Motorola line of phones! The slide out tray is not removable without using the included key that Motorola provides, or you could easily cause damage to the tray if attempting to remove tray without the key (a frequent mistake when presented with the opportunity to try out a new phone & attempting to remove the sim card tray without the required key).. The only positive I see in the sim card tray is that instead of utilizing it for both a sim card & an SD card, the SD card can be removed & a 2nd sim card can be added for dual sim mode. (2 phone numbers on device at 1 time).. I haven't tried this feature yet.) There is no removable back cover on the G5s Plus like there was on the E4 plus. Since this newer model G5s plus was featured with the removable sim/SD card tray and a non-removable battery, I assume that Motorola went ahead and made the back cover non-removable to prevent customers from attempting to remove the battery. I would highly recommend purchasing a good quality TPU case/cover along with purchasing a new mobile device. I personally prefer Spigen when it comes to buying an affordable yet high quality & durable case. I stick to the TPU cases because they stay flexible, easy to remove and put back on. For the most part I really have enjoyed both of these Motorola devices, after having the E4 plus for 3+ months, and now having the G5s plus for going on a month. I don't regret purchasing either one, but the G5s Plus is a bit more on the costly side. One feature on the G5s Plus that I don't like to much is how the power button sticks out a little more than what I'm used to. I've found myself completely restarting my phone when going to grab it out of my pocket or while simply holding it . I've got to be more careful to not squeeze to hard as it might reboot my phone.

Excellent battery life!
Just got this phone, the first time I used it battery lasted 65 hours before I put it back on the charger at 12% and 13 hours of time left according to the app! I listen to music all day at work so 24 hrs of that was playing music plus there was a lot of you tube time. I am truly impressed with the battery life! I've gotten it wet and no problems. I think I'm going to love this phone!
